Industrial Air Cleaners

AZTech Model T3500
Ambient Industrial Air Cleaners

Aztech T-Series Air Cleaners provide an excellent solution for many different types of industrial air filtration challenges.   Our Ambient Industrial Air Cleaners are specially designed as extensions to commercial and industrial HVAC air cleaning systems.  Many of our satisfied customers are contractors who have discovered the T-Series to be a beneficial add-on product line when working with commercial and industrial manufacturers interested in filtering their indoor air. Units are available in CFM ranges of 1000 to 8000, are modular in design and can be configured to collect welding smoke and fumes, grinding dust, wood dust, oil mist, vapors and other nuisance dusts.

Important: Information about the new May 31, 2010 OSHA deadline for reducing Hexavalent Chromium levels

Industrial Maid's T-Series was designed with consideration for welding applications that offer special challenges.  Flexibility of placement is especially crucial when welding stations have variations in work area that make it problematic to move source capture arms around or when workers or ancillary systems require unobstructed space.  Allowing processes to run smoothly is important, but most importantly, our air filtration systems have proven to handle the number 1 priority - reduce the overall concentration of the welding fumes for the welder and surrounding co-workers.

The application to the left is 41,250 sq. ft of new metal fabrication space that needed to extract welding fume air and smoke from several welding stations.  T-3500X2 industrial air cleaning units ducted to the wall above the welding stations and safety curtains installed below are configured to handle the challenge.  Go to our industrial welding hood page to see other options for welding fume extraction.

Here a M36IAC model air filtration unit, placed for  source capture, removes grinding dust particles directly from work space in a cutting area.  Then Model T3500 industrial air cleaners with our unique Filter Saver Option were mounted above work spaces to filter the overhead air throughout the plant.  At Industrial Maid we work with you personally or with your mechanical contractor to make sure that valued employees are protected from occupational hazards such as grinding dust and welding smoke.

Ambient Air Cleaners are Components of Total Industrial Ventilation System
The ventilation of a building covers the movement of air all through a structure. The heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) system within a workspace supplies and removes air.  The air exchange either occurs naturally with the use of windows and doors or mechanically (HVAC).   A building's heating and cooling system then serves as a way to maintain airflow to workers at a controlled and comfortable temperature and humidity level, that is also free of contaminants. Building ventilation is a major factor in the health and productivity of workers.

Ventilation System Design
Size of the workspace, type and numbers of equipment being used, and the number of people working in the area determines the amount of air required to be delivered by an HVAC system. It is essential that required amounts of ventilation air flows throughout all occupied spaces.

As mentioned above, the best industrial air cleaning program has to include an emphasis on the importance of filters.  Always use the filter with the highest efficiency rating possible while maintaining the required airflow.   Make sure that the filters are the correct size in order to minimize air escaping around them rather than filtering through them.  Double check installation to ensure that the filters are installed in the correct orientation relative to airflow, and that they are seated in the filter rack properly.

Be sure to keep all outdoor intakes open and in proper working condition.  As a final reminder, regardless of the air flow needed for heating and cooling, the minimum outdoor air flow outlined by ASHRAE needs to be provided to each space.
